VISOR Custom services are based on our existing multi-camera technology and the flexible VisorSoft software, designed to handle many camera inputs. We can develop a total vehicle inspection system to meet your requirements.
Examples:
Trains: You may want to inspect all of the outside surfaces as well as the underside of a train. The VISOR solution is simple: just add more cameras and install them so that their fields of view scan all of the surfaces you want to examine.
This schematic shows the configuration of a VISOR Rail inspection system for trains. There are 14 cameras:
- 8 scan the underside including both sides of the wheels and the brake assemblies.
- 6 scan the rest of the outside of the vehicle including the pantograph.
Our VisorSoft software can easily process all of this data and still display a composite image of the complete external and underside surface in a few seconds. And because we store every frame from every camera, detailed inspection can be carried out at the level of resolution you need to for the highest confidence level.
Trucks: Or you may need to inspect road vehicles. Not just the underside but the top and sides as well:
In this example, the the truck is being scanned by:
- 5 underside cameras and
- 6 outside surface cameras.
Cars: Or you may need to inspect cars for, for example, damage or blemishes. This schematic uses cameras in the roadway, on the posts and on the gantry to ensure full coverage.
